Crozet Life and Culture
Crozet is small but has most everything we need. It's home to multiple centers of activity with shops, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, hardware stores, offices, and parks.
There are too many Crozet businesses to list here, but Starr Hill Brewery is certainly a favorite attraction for our members, being just a short walk away. The area also features many popular wineries, breweries, and orchards. While the long-term plan is to bring more jobs to Crozet, many people who live here work in Charlottesville, Waynesboro, or from home. A commuter bus, Crozet Connect, runs between Crozet and Charlottesville during the workweek. |
Crozet Recreation
Crozet is surrounded by rural land that hosts a variety of regional treasures, including Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Tunnel.
Closer to home, Crozet Park is a neighborhood park that hosts lots of community activity, with sport fields, playgrounds, a pool, and a dog park. Mint Springs Park, nestled into the foothills, has many peaceful hiking trails, as well as a lake for swimming. |
